Hello Racketlon Enthusiasts!
We are pleased to announce the Vancouver Island Racketlon event to be played at Panorama Recreation Centre on Feb 27-Mar 1, 2015. For the first time ever, this tournament is an FIR International Challenger event which will gain you world ranking points and may draw some international players. What fun that would be!
This is the ONLY racketlon event currently scheduled in western Canada. So, if you live in the west and don’t want to travel too far, this is the event for you! If you live in the east, come visit our balmy climate and get away from winter. We would love to have you participate.
There will be Mens/Ladies A & B Singles, Doubles and Mixed. Players may enter a maximum of 2 events. We guarantee 3 matches for singles, and 2 for doubles.
As this is an international challenger event, players in the A & B divisions must obtain an FIR 2015 players license which costs 12 Euros prior to registering for the tournament. This can be done at
fir.tournamentsoftware.com. If there is sufficient interest, we would consider running a recreational category for novice players. Individuals interested in this should contact us at

[email protected].The entry fee of $47.50 for singles and $20 for doubles is payable upon check-in at the tournament.
Entries close on February 16, 2015 at 11:59 a.m. CENTRAL EUROPEAN TIME. To be safe please enter by February 15th.
We have special tournament rates at the Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa and at the Howard Johnson. Billeting is also available on a limited basis.
