The Hull racketlon tournament proved to live to the expectations. 55 players plus numerous family members were on site for the ultimate racket sport experience. Venue was great, tournament director was very good, food was incredible, the pool was warm and tournament hotel cozy and close by. And yes there was some good racketlon going on. Two women categories, two junior categories, two men categories, one in double and the seniors. Winners are: A: The invincible Pat jr Laplante again but finalist was new comer Éric Leblanc a good squash player. Easterbrook is third. B: Our featured player (home page picture with V-P Rod Bedard and Alex Cantin from la Sportheque) is Mike Martynyshyn who drove all the way form Barrie to win the B title in a gummi arm drama against Jasmin Felx. Women’s A : Line Bellerose again against top tennis player Elizabeth Fournier Women’s B: Laetitia Habimana, 2nd is Martine Rainville Seniors: Marc Fortin won over Rob Edwards (the man on the ground on pics below) U-14: Anthony Bedard over Brandan Chow U-11 Nathan Bedard over Henry Potter Doubles : Felx/Giroux over Edward/Martynyshyn Below are pictures of Brendan Chow, Pat Laplante, Elizabeth Fournier and the Katherine Potter looking at the food.
