Daniel Tudor rules in Ottawa

Daniel Tudor from Toronto’s was dominant in Ottawa by winning three categories: Junior u-17, Men’s and junior doubles (with Harry Dong) .  This expert tennis player was so dominant he seldom had to reach tennis.  This a player to watch for in the coming years, he may become one of the top players in Canada. The A was again a one man story: Pat jr Laplante was as skilled as usual, new comer and finalist David Guest was able to beat Pat 21-7 in squash buy still could reach tennis!!!! Only Jasmin Felx a top badminton player was able to get to the tennis court with Pat. Women’s got a new champion, Sally Guest, one of New Zealand top squash player was able to defeat veteran player Line Bellerose in the final (+12). Third place went to 14 years old Coralline Éthier, not bad for her first tourney with the adults. The B final was a no show by finalist Rob Edwards (injury) so the tittle was Paul Morrisson’s.  He also won the Over 45. Doubles was a battle that was again won by Mark Martynyshyn but this time he was paired with Pat Laplante, +1  vs Jeremy Easterbrook and Jasmin Felx. Younger categories were the Bedard bros territories, Anthony won a tough match against Hunter Kennedy from Brampton to win the U-14 event (8 strong players showed up for the u-14).  Nathan was first in the u-11 with Danick Marion second. Thanks Steve for running this annual tournament Daniel Tudor with Anthony Bedard and Pat Laplante avec Daniel Tudor - copie
