Dear Racketlon Player and Fans,
As we all know, 2020 and 2021 have been very difficult years. The global pandemic has touched us in many different ways, many of which have been unfortunately negative. But I think it showed us that we can be resilient and innovative during challenging times. Because of all this, there were no Racketlon tournaments in Canada since the pandemic started, up until now. As a small non-profit organization, we raise funding through membership fees and tournament fees. Hence, funding has been almost non-existent since March of last year.
That’s why we go to all of you out there, player and fan, to help us with our funding. Here’s the good news! A generous supporter wants to help.
This donor has offered a ‘’matching challenge’’ and will match dollar for dollar any donation of $20 and more, up to a maximum of $5,000. If you are a player, this includes your 20222-2023 membership fees. If you are a fan, this is an opportunity to have even more impact supporting and promoting a sport we all love. We will update the collected amounts on a regular basis.
With vaccination rates accelerating across Canada, the Board is excited to resume tournaments in 2022. Our commitment is to do this in a safe and responsible way so we can all enjoy being together again. We thank you for your donation and look forward to seeing you in a tournament soon.
