32 players were registered to compete at the RA Centre Racketlon, the longest running racketlon event in Canada. Tournament director Steve Mikovich, with the help of his son Noah, did a good job in managing the schedule so everything could finish on time. On Saturday, the A, B, C and women’s events were contested. On Saturday it was the U-14 event.
Some very close matchs were played, mainly in the B and C event, as Anthony Bédard, who is gonna be 2nd in Canada on the October ranking, prove to be above the field in the A.
The RA center is a nice venue for a racketlon without tennis, but for once we got to play squash, one of the original 4 sports in racketlon.
Next event is tentatively scheduled for January in Ottawa.
