Il nous offre un tournoi sanctionné FIR (et racketlon Canada) avec plusieurs catégories: A-B (hommes et femmes), u-21, O-45, double etc. Il est très important d’aller l’encourager car notre développement passe par une concurrence avec les USA. The Massachusetts Racket Masters will take place on the 29th and 30th of April at Smith College in Northhampton, MA. The mens and womens elite draws, as well as the over 45′ are FIR sanctioned for world ranking points, and you can register now on fir.tournamentsoftware.com. There will also be a B draw, a « first-timers » draw and a doubles event. This tournament has already attracted some strong players including current world number 9 Marko Välimäki and former U21 world champion Patrick Laplante. On the female side we have Katrin Maldre, currently ranked number 14 in the world in women´s seniors, and an anticipated return to the racketlon tour of Shona Kerr. Smith College is located in Northampton, Massachusetts and is 1 hour North of Bradley International airport. There are a number of options for hotels in Northampton, including within walking distance of Smith. Northampton is also a lively college town with an array of restaurants, retail outlets and a thriving music scene.
