Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric d’Amours de Rivi\u00e8re-du-Loup, vient de remporter son premier tournoi du World Tour en d\u00e9faisant le manitobain Evan Mancer en finale. \u00a0La grande surprise est venue en demi-finale lorsque Patrick Laplante a vu son aura d’invisibilit\u00e9 \u00eatre transperc\u00e9e par un Evan Mancer en grande forme. \u00a0Ce champion de squash \u00e0 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 une grande am\u00e9lioration au badminton et son tennis de premi\u00e8re division NCAA a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 tenir le coup devant la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 d\u00e9concertante de Patrick. \u00a0Le score \u00e9tant +1 Evan avant le tennis, celui qui gagnait le tennis \u00e9tait gagnant. \u00a0Quel match nous avons eu, ceux qui y \u00e9taient vont s’en souvenir longtemps, les deux joueurs sauvant des points de match avant de voir Evan conclure sur une vol\u00e9e gagnante. \u00a0L’autre demi-finale entre Jeremy Easterbrook et Fred d’Amours a vu celui-ci utiliser son badminton de haut niveau et son tennis sup\u00e9rieur pour arracher la victoire \u00e0 un Easterbrook qui voit son niveau remonter apr\u00e8s une grave blessure au tendon d’Achille.\"Damours\"<\/a>Dans le B et dans le 40 ans, l’increvable Dany Lessard, 57 ans a combattu jusqu’au bout pour venir \u00e0 bout de Serge St-Andr\u00e9 qui fut d\u00e9concert\u00e9 par tant de pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance ainsi que Mark Martynyshyn dans le 40 ans. Le double fut l’affaire de Laplante et Mancer contre D’amours et Felx. \u00a0 Le 21 ans fut remport\u00e9 par Anthony B\u00e9dard, Nathan B\u00e9dard deuxi\u00e8me et Andr\u00e9anne L\u00e9tourneau 3e. \u00a0Chez les plus jeunes, Nathan B\u00e9dard a remport\u00e9 le tournoi contre les ontariens Maxime et Danick Marion. Dans le C, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Fontaine a battu Olivier Savaria en finale.
