Canada has a new number one: Horatio Pintea from Ottawa.
The November Racketlon Canada rankings are available. Some major changes have occurred on the men's side because of the 2009 Pacific Rim Open: a lot of new names and a big boost for the players who traveled from Calgary, Ottawa and Quebec all the way to Victoria. There are now 5 players competing closely (400 points) for the top spot: Horatio Pintea, Jeremy Easterbrook, Rod Bedard, Danny Shannon and Richard Thomson. Lastly, on the Ladies' side, there has been no important changes in the leader board.

Pacific Rim Open: Experience Triumph in Victoria
On October 2-4, the city of Victoria in beautiful British Columbia was hosting the fourth Pacific Rim Open Racketlon tournament. Over 80 participants competed in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Victoria is home to a very strong tennis community and many participants were among the best players on the island.

The 2009 Pacific Rim Open is now accepting registrations!
There will be both singles, doubles and Junior (under21 events), categories for different skill levels, lots of great food and beverages, a free souvenir T-shirt and cash prizes.
Please note that we've broken with tradition. This year's tournament is being held the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Get your racquets out of the closet, and we'll see you in October 2nd to 4th!
